Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or trade school diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent technical training and experience
- Proven experience in leading teams and delivering training in collaborative environments
- Expertise in interpreting architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, and civil drawings
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including drafting reports and correspondence
- Proficient in presenting information to diverse audiences, including clients and management
- Experience with automation projects using APIs for Autodesk and Bentley products is preferred
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively apply various software platforms in model development
- Prior construction site experience is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Define, document, and uphold VDC standards across project outputs and model development
- Integrate Autodesk and compatible software tools into the workflow for project efficiency
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with Autodesk and other software vendors
- Utilize industry connections to introduce innovative solutions that enhance project outcomes
- Collaborate with PECs internal development team on API deployment and automation endeavors
- Implement API solutions to streamline workflows and improve VDC tool functionality
- Mentor VDC Specialists, guiding them on Autodesk workflows and VDC standards
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to promote best practices and continuous development
- Collaborate with the VDC Manager to align PECs VDC roadmap with industry advancements
- Engage in planning and executing future VDC projects to keep tools and processes updated
- Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as necessary to support company needs
