Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent professional experience in a relevant technical field
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities to work autonomously within a matrixed organization, managing diverse scenarios and priorities while maintaining a business-oriented approach
- Comprehension of IT operations, including incident, change, and problem management, alongside application development
- Proven project management skills to successfully deliver small to medium-sized projects with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of integrated risk management, specifically regarding IT governance, compliance, and risk management
- Preferred: Certifications in ITIL Foundations, Agile DevOps, PMP, or DAMA
- Preferred: Experience with industrial IT networks and automation systems
- Preferred: Proficiency in software development or programming languages such as Python, SQL, C/C++, C#, etc.
- Preferred: Strong grasp of manufacturing operations and processes
- Preferred: Experience as an application manager for mid to highly complex applications
Responsibilities
- Govern and oversee the stewardship of the sites application portfolio
- Collaborate with the Site Digital Leader and Electrical & Instrumentation Departments to ensure that all MPRS (Make/Pack/Release/Ship) applications are registered with the necessary Business Impact Assessments
- Manage site compliance for digital asset management
- Analyze site trends or recurring challenges and formulate a response plan aligned with the Site Digital Master Plan
- Identify and document critical applications in line with the Site Continuity Plan
- Work alongside site CSV owners to confirm that computer systems are properly registered and adhere to compliance standards
- Participate actively in the Site Change Management Board
- Enhance the capabilities of the Core Systems team of Key Users and Application Owners
- Cultivate a network within Business Units and central teams to apply collective knowledge and maximize the value derived from applications
- Ensure that all applications are assigned capable and qualified Application Owners
- Develop plans, iRisk initiatives, and capabilities for local application owners, implementing appropriate Plan-Do-Check-Act cycles
- Manage the MAGICs Applications Management Toolkit and related site processes to fulfill stewardship requirements
- Develop and maintain connections with central and 2nd Line of Defense teams
- Act as the primary escalation contact for compliance issues faced by the Business Unit App Single Point of Contact and IT Asset Management
- Stay informed about policy changes and devise strategies to ensure compliance across the sites applications
- Ensure that local application managers adhere to best practices for application continuity
- Collaborate with the Digital MAGICs team and policy/standard owners to ensure applications meet usability standards
