Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of extensive technical expertise in Power, Controls, and Information Systems technologies, including Continuous Process Control, Instruments, Control Logix PLCs, Safety PLCs, Wonderware, Motion Control, Vision Systems, Networks, Drives, and Sensors
- Proven track record in managing innovation within a manufacturing setting
- Strong comprehension and practical experience with Intellectual Property concepts
- Demonstrated proficiency in Lean Innovation and Loss Elimination strategies
- Comprehensive understanding of Machine Controls and Manufacturing Applied Informatics
- Solid experience in Plant Engineering and Process Control
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
- Exceptional skills in Initiative Management and project leadership
- Ability to devise and implement a Tech Readiness Roadmap
- Advanced knowledge of Validation processes and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience
- Strong leadership qualities, problem definition skills, and ability to set priorities
- Aptitude for conveying insights and working collaboratively across teams/organizations
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute innovation strategies and initiatives within the manufacturing facility, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
- Manage and protect intellectual property rights concerning manufacturing processes and product designs developed or employed at the plant
- Implement Lean Innovation methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes, minimize waste, and boost overall efficiency and productivity
- Direct Loss Elimination initiatives across all operational sectors, pinpointing root causes of inefficiencies and executing sustainable solutions
- Supervise the design, implementation, and upkeep of advanced Machine Controls systems to ensure optimal functionality and dependability of manufacturing equipment
- Steer the application of Manufacturing Applied Informatics to utilize data for informed decision-making, predictive maintenance, and process enhancement
- Collaborate with Plant Engineering to guarantee the smooth integration of new technologies and the ongoing enhancement of infrastructure
- Oversee the validation processes for new equipment, processes, and products, ensuring adherence to internal standards and regulatory requirements
