Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors, Masters, or postgraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Analytics, etc.)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Data Science or a related area, demonstrating a measurable impact on business outcomes
- Doctorate-level research involving AI/ML techniques may substitute for professional experience
- Proficient in programming languages like Python and familiarity with major Data Science/machine learning libraries such as OpenCV, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow/Keras, and Pandas
- Proven capability to develop and test code in cloud settings
- Experience handling large datasets and developing in cloud computing platforms like GCP or Azure
- Familiar with analytic methodologies such as Machine Learning, Optimization, Simulation, and Generative and Agentic AI applied to real-world scenarios
- Knowledge of DevOps environments, including tools like Git and CI/CD practices
- Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of persuading others to take action
- Ability to work onsite in Cincinnati, OH, with a hybrid work schedule
Responsibilities
- Lead the invention and development of innovative data science and AI algorithms that disrupt traditional methods
- Collaborate with engineering teams to bring scalable, impactful solutions into production
- Conduct exploratory analysis, feature engineering, and model creation on extensive datasets using cloud technologies
- Mentor fellow data scientists and establish yourself as a subject-matter expert in AI, optimization, or generative methodologies
- Convert complex data into strategic insights that drive meaningful business decisions and outcomes
