Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline
- At least 3 years of substantial technical expertise in Power Controls and Information Systems technologies, such as Continuous Process Control, Control Logix PLCs, Safety PLCs, and Networks
- Demonstrated experience in managing innovation within a manufacturing context
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with Intellectual Property regulations
- Proven proficiency in Lean Innovation and Loss Elimination techniques
- Extensive understanding of Machine Controls and Manufacturing Applied Informatics
- Solid experience in Plant Engineering and Process Control environments
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management systems
- Exceptional project leadership and initiative management capabilities
- Ability to create and implement a Tech Readiness Roadmap
- Skilled in Validation processes and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- 3+ years of relevant work background
- Effective leadership and business problem definition abilities
- Aptitude for conveying insights and collaborating across different teams and organizations

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of innovative strategies within the Alexandria manufacturing facility, promoting a culture of continual enhancement
- Protect and manage intellectual property rights associated with manufacturing techniques and design aspects used in the plant
- Employ Lean Innovation methodologies to streamline manufacturing processes, minimize waste, and boost overall productivity and efficiency
- Spearhead Loss Elimination initiatives across various operational areas, diagnosing inefficiencies and applying sustainable solutions
- Supervise the design, implementation, and upkeep of advanced Machine Controls systems for optimal performance and reliability of production equipment
- Guide the application of Manufacturing Applied Informatics to harness data for effective decision-making, predictive maintenance, and process enhancements
- Work closely with Plant Engineering to ensure the smooth integration of new technologies and ongoing improvement of infrastructure
- Manage the validation processes for new equipment, procedures, and products, ensuring adherence to internal standards and regulatory guidelines
