Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information/Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field OR 4+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Information/Cyber Security as a SOC Analyst, Security Architect, Forensics Expert, Risk Analyst, Developer, System Administrator, or NOC Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge of the CIA triad and Purdue model
- Familiarity with Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) fundamentals
- Ability to influence stakeholders, articulate complex security concepts for business contexts, work autonomously, and make important decisions
- Must be available to work on-site in Oxnard, CA for 4-5 days per week
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, enrollment, and execution of the sites cybersecurity action plan, integrating it into the digital master plan
- Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting, maintenance, ensuring compliance with policies, asset management, patching, and conducting training sessions
- Implement information security strategies and manage overall change in information security
- Act as the primary contact for site information security incidents, initiating response processes and supporting the response team led by Technical and Business Information Security Leaders
- Be a key contributor to governance, risk, and compliance activities at the site
- Foster cybersecurity capability building and promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness unique to the site
- Engage in community practices for Site Cyber Security Leaders to learn and share best practices, which will enhance the site cybersecurity action plan
