Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years in IT support (experience in managed service provider preferred)
- Proficient in troubleshooting Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
- Familiarity with Active Directory and user management practices
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN)
- Ability to manage multiple support tickets and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication skills to convey technical issues in a clear manner
- Openness to seek assistance and collaborate with team members
Responsibilities
- Address escalated support issues from Level 1 technicians
- Diagnose and resolve problems involving Windows 10/11 systems
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications including Exchange, Teams, and OneDrive
- Manage Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Group Policy tasks
- Support VPN, networking, and connectivity challenges
- Provide remote assistance with occasional onsite visits as required
- Take ownership of support tickets throughout their lifecycle: troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and closure
- Facilitate small to medium projects such as workstation rollouts, server/cloud migrations, and network upgrades
- Maintain clear documentation to prevent recurring issues
- Interact professionally with non-technical users and manage expectations effectively
- Identify persistent problems and recommend sustainable solutions rather than temporary fixes
