Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with 2 to 5 years of professional software development experience, or equivalent knowledge, and a proven history of consistently delivering high-quality code in production. You should possess strong skills in TypeScript and NodeJS, and familiarity with React is important. Experience in building RESTful services and designing relational data models is essential; knowledge of Postgres is a plus. A general awareness of DevOps, including CI/CD, cloud platforms, and monitoring tools, will be beneficial. We value a strong work ethic, a product-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
In this full-stack software engineer role, you will be responsible for developing and launching product features with a key focus on reliability, usability, and performance. Your tasks will include designing and evolving relational schemas, implementing REST APIs using TypeScript and NodeJS, and creating responsive, accessible user interfaces in React. You'll ensure sound engineering practices by writing unit and integration tests, reviewing code, and documenting decisions. Security is a priority, so you will apply secure coding techniques and stay up to date with best practices. You will also monitor production operations by adding logging, metrics, and alerts, troubleshooting issues, and driving to resolve root causes. Lastly, you will collaborate with the team on product direction by contributing to brainstorming, defining scope, and prioritizing work.
