Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering or analytics engineering
- Proficient in Python and SQL (essential requirement)
- Hands-on experience in constructing and taking ownership of production ETL/ELT pipelines
- Knowledge of cloud data warehouses (Snowflake or similar)
- Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow or equivalent)
- Experience in establishing data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting
- Ability to debug intricate data issues in production setups
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with non-data stakeholders
- (Nice to have) Experience with AWS (ECS, Lambdas, RDS)
- (Nice to have) Hands-on experience with Airbyte, DBT, or similar tools
- (Nice to have) Background in developing API integrations or scraping pipelines
- (Nice to have) Exposure to LLMs, agentic systems, or AI data pipelines
- (Nice to have) Experience supporting early-stage or rapidly growing startups
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the health, reliability, and performance of production data pipelines across the organization
- Construct, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL/ELT pipelines that support analytics, AI systems, and internal tools
- Ensure data integrity through monitoring and alerting to swiftly identify and rectify issues
- Design and maintain integrations throughout the data stack, including APIs, warehouses, orchestration, and downstream consumers
- Enhance and support AI and agentic systems by developing robust data and contextual pipelines
- Collaborate closely with data science, product, and engineering teams to facilitate data-driven decision-making
- Continuously improve infrastructure to avoid failures and scale alongside the business
