Requirements
Must:
- Proven expertise in Shopify (custom themes, Liquid, metafields, applications)
- Strong front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with review systems or data-driven interfaces is advantageous
- Ability to write clean, scalable, and well-structured code
- Strong communication skills and capability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Develop a custom Shopify page/template for Top Cigars & Ratings
- Implement a multi-attribute rating system (strength, flavor, construction, etc.)
- Present aggregated review data (averages, counts, trends)
- Integrate custom metafields (for external scores such as Halfwheel)
- Create filtering and sorting features (by score, brand, strength, etc.)
- Ensure the website is mobile-responsive and delivers an exceptional user experience
- Establish backend/admin workflows for adding cigars and managing ratings
Description
We are Privada Cigar Club, a rapidly growing premium cigar subscription and lifestyle brand based in Orlando, FL, with the flexibility for in-office, hybrid, or remote work. We are dedicated to creating a unique centralized rating and review platform within the cigar industry, intended to be the primary destination for cigar enthusiasts to discover, assess, and compare cigars. This contract position offers a project budget between $6,000 and $10,000 depending on expertise, with an estimated timeline of 3 to 6 weeks for the initial build and potential for continued work and feature development.
