Requirements
Must:
- 7–12 years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity
- In-depth hands-on knowledge of GCP services like Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and scalable deployment techniques
- Strong expertise in LLM-based systems, prompt engineering, and API integrations
- Proven experience in building RAG systems and agentic workflows in live environments
- Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, and Vertex AI Matching Engine, including indexing and similarity search strategies
- Proficient in Python, with working knowledge of JavaScript/Node.js for API development, orchestration, and frontend solutions
- Practical experience utilizing TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other similar ML frameworks
- Knowledgeable in SQL databases (BigQuery, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL technologies (Firestore, MongoDB), capable of managing large unstructured data sets
- Strong grasp of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and scalable ML deployment
- Proven track record of leading projects autonomously, navigating ambiguity, and delivering effective solutions
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a high-performing AI/ML engineering team, nurturing innovation and best practices
- Design and manage scalable machine learning systems, including architectures powered by LLM, retrieval pipelines, and agentic workflows on GCP
- Architect and develop agentic workflows, focusing on tool usage, memory management, planning, and orchestration with modern frameworks
- Write production-level code, primarily in Python, and demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript; conduct thorough code reviews
- Develop, train, fine-tune, and deploy ML and LLM models using frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch
- Create robust data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data, integrating sources into BigQuery and Cloud Storage
- Manage the entire lifecycle of AI systems, from data ingestion through model development to deployment and iterative improvements
- Establish and execute performance evaluation frameworks for LLM outputs, focusing on quality and efficiency
- Collaborate strategically to translate business challenges into implementable AI/ML and LLM-driven solutions, effectively communicating architecture and strategic decisions to stakeholders
