Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in interpreting and following safety protocols and identifying potential hazards
- Strong understanding of instrumentation knowledge and maintenance equipment
- Experience using precision measuring tools for instrument testing during repairs and preventive maintenance
- Skilled in adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and preventive maintenance instructions
- Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical systems for troubleshooting various process systems and instrumentation
- Experienced with PLC logic, P&ID diagrams, and electrical schematics for system diagnostics
- Proficient in configuration and calibration of control instruments using HART communicators
- Capable of troubleshooting motor control circuits and 4-20mA instrument control loops
- Experienced in maintaining and calibrating process analyzers and emissions monitors
- Proficient in managing discrete and analog control valves and various transmitters
- Skilled in troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLC systems, Variable Frequency Drives, and Soft Start controllers
- Familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for recording labor and managing parts
- Adept in providing preventive maintenance to instrumentation including process analyzers
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate across departments as needed
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software tools
Responsibilities
- Conduct repairs on control devices within production areas of the plant
- Follow daily directions from the Area Power & Controls Resource or Plant Coordinator
- Adhere to safety protocols and identify any safety-related issues
- Perform maintenance and testing on various process systems and instrumentation
- Utilize precision measuring equipment to ensure instrument performance during repairs
- Implement Standard Operating Procedures and preventive maintenance instructions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical and motor control circuits
- Maintain and calibrate essential industrial control systems and devices
- Collaborate with maintenance mechanics and production technicians as needed
