Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Associates degree in an engineering or technology field
- Proficient in applying advanced engineering skills and knowledge to solve complex problems independently
- Strong analytical abilities with a talent for resolving intricate and cross-functional issues
- Experience in collaborating with both local and international teams
- At least 10 years of relevant industry experience
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time
Responsibilities
- Design integrated systems that combine hardware and software
- Develop material specifications, create schematics, and ensure proper follow-up
- Propose solutions for productivity enhancement and cost reduction
- Facilitate knowledge exchange related to processes and applications for system design
- Engage in various project stages to enhance hardware, product, and software development
- Identify and define solutions for upgrades in customer facilities
- Collaborate with customer teams to identify challenges, devise solutions, and achieve project objectives
- Generate recommendations aimed at improving productivity, quality, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction
- Manage multiple projects within your area of expertise
- Engineer, design, and integrate automation and control systems tailored for the metals sector
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required
