Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5 years of progressively responsible experience in advanced automation control systems, or relevant experience
- Alternatively, a Masters degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field with 2 years of experience in advanced automation control systems or relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Engineering, specification, design, testing, and commissioning of advanced automation control systems
- Working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Distributed Control Systems (DCSs), and Human Machine Interface (HMI) technologies for large industrial projects in the metals sector
- Delivering technical solutions, process expertise, customer training, and service support for complex industrial processes
- Designing and integrating advanced hardware and software systems
- Developing material specifications, schematics, and accompanying documentation
- Proposing recommendations to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Facilitating the exchange of technical knowledge for process and application system design
- Defining solutions for upgrades and improvements in customer facilities
- Collaborating with customer teams to identify challenges and develop effective solutions
- Overseeing multiple projects within our area of expertise
