Requirements
Must:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Interaction Design, User Experience Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related discipline.
- Basic knowledge of UX/UI design principles, including user journeys, wireframes, mockups, and foundational research methods.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or comparable software.
- Excellent written communication abilities with a knack for clearly documenting findings and work.
- Capability to structure information, adhere to guidelines, and collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- (Preferred) Experience in UX/UI design coursework or projects, covering interaction design, visual design, or interface design methodologies.
- (Preferred) Background in UX research, design systems, or service design practices.
- (Preferred) Familiarity with documenting design work in platforms like Confluence, Miro, or other collaboration tools.
- (Preferred) Hands-on experience with design tools like Figma, focusing on components, layouts, and basic prototyping techniques.
- (Preferred) Interest or experience with AI tools, Figma plug-ins, or new design technologies.
- (Preferred) Experience in creating presentations or using visual storytelling techniques in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or similar applications.
- (Preferred) Strong detail orientation, curiosity, and a desire to enhance both user and business experiences through design.
Responsibilities
- Document comprehensive user journeys, critical moments, capabilities, and personas within the XP Hub to assist in experience strategy and alignment.
- Organize and synthesize Rep and Client insights, which include research data, feedback, and design experiences.
- Contribute to the OneX Design System by providing support in documentation for components, patterns, and UX consistency guidelines within Confluence.
- Collaborate with UX designers on active projects by observing their processes and assisting in research activities, wireframes, UI design tasks, and design revisions as needed.
- Conduct research on competitors and gather inspiration by tracking UI patterns, onboarding processes, and best practices from external sources.
- Aid the ETO team in enhancing existing presentation decks or in developing new PowerPoint templates to improve visual clarity and consistency.
- Investigate AI tools and Figma plug-ins, documenting their advantages, disadvantages, use cases, and suggestions that contribute to team workflows.
- Create straightforward how-to guides, examples, or prompt libraries to facilitate the responsible and effective use of AI tools within the team.
