Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience in supporting product launches or new product introductions (NPI).
- Strong skills in cross-functional leadership and project management.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering teams and comprehend technical documentation.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial production settings.
- Prior involvement in manufacturing ramp or production launches is preferred.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment setup, or achieving production readiness.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement techniques.
- Experience working with external clients or technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead new product introduction (NPI) and oversee manufacturing ramp activities.
- Facilitate collaboration among engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams during product launches.
- Assist in the development of manufacturing processes and ensure production readiness.
- Manage program timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables effectively.
- Provide routine updates on program status to leadership and customer representatives.
- Support equipment acquisition, vendor management, and production scheduling.
- Guarantee alignment between engineering designs and manufacturing operations.
- Promote problem-solving and encourage cross-functional teamwork to tackle production challenges.
