Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred experience in Technical Graphics, Drafting Principles, or relevant education
- Proficiency in reading, visualizing, and interpreting structural fabrication drawings
- Intermediate skills in Basic Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry
- Advanced computer skills with familiarity in software such as Autodesk, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Office, Peddinghaus, Shop Data, SDS/2, and Tekla
- Attention to detail and focus on accuracy
- Ability to learn from mistakes and work both independently and collaboratively
Technologies
Responsibilities
- Engage in on-the-job training in various aspects of drafting and design
- Create, modify, and interpret technical drawings and documents
- Learn AISC Detailing for Steel Construction
- Develop skills in Basic Drawing Reading and Technical Graphics
- Participate in CAD detailing tasks
- Assist in data entry and input for CNC machines
- Manage document control and processing, including file transmission

Our internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about Drafting Technology, Structural Steel, and Technical Graphics from the ground up. This full-time internship position, with hours Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:15 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, aims to equip you with the necessary skills to transition into a full-time role upon successful completion.
