Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree is mandatory
- Alternatively, an associates degree coupled with two (2) years of experience in business analysis is acceptable
- Certification in vendor applications is essential
- At least 3 years of experience in supporting clinical applications within a hospital or healthcare setting
- Proficiency in working with vendor-supported healthcare software solutions
- Familiarity with clinical workflows specific to inpatient care
- Understanding of healthcare privacy and security regulations, including HIPAA
- Strong technical troubleshooting abilities and analytical thinking
- Capability to work collaboratively with clinical, IT, and vendor teams
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and provide support for the inpatient video visit platform and related hardware devices
- Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and coordinate solutions with internal IT teams and external vendors
- Maintain system configurations such as user roles, templates, and operational settings
- Work alongside clinical stakeholders to weave telehealth workflows into inpatient care delivery
- Assist with integration efforts involving EHR systems, scheduling tools, patient portals, and identity management platforms
- Support HL7/FHIR interfaces, API frameworks, and data mapping validations
- Act as the primary liaison with the software vendor for platform assistance, upgrades, and feature rollouts
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and internal privacy standards during system usage
- Provide training and support to clinicians and staff to foster adoption of the virtual care platform
- Engage in incident response, root cause analysis, and change management protocols
