Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience as a Windows Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure and cybersecurity best practices
- Proficient in SQL Server replication
- Familiarity with ITIL-based workflows and ticketing systems
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or CompTIA Security+ (preferred)
- Experience in Agile environments and working within cross-functional teams (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Oversee a diverse array of systems including databases, servers, backups, and disaster recovery solutions
- Ensure the uptime and reliability of systems through effective networking and monitoring applications
- Manage enterprise systems with a focus on user account provisioning and lifecycle management
- Safeguard AWS tenants and uphold compliance with cybersecurity regulations
- Offer technical assistance for expired accounts, replication challenges, and operational interruptions
- Partner with cybersecurity, operations, and managed services teams to implement system enhancements and standard modifications
- Record system configurations, adjustments, and troubleshooting methodologies
- Conduct routine operations and maintenance checks to verify server, system, and network functionality
- Regularly apply server patches and system updates
- Address system and network security vulnerabilities
- Monitor systems and set up alerts to ensure continual uptime
- Administer backup and disaster recovery processes using Rubrik
- Perform regular SQL backups and restorations, ensuring adherence to data retention policies
