Requirements
Must:
- Hands-on IT experience with Microsoft 365 and Power Apps
- Genuine interest in applying AI to tackle real-world manufacturing and operational challenges
- Exceptional communication abilities, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences
- Willingness to work in manufacturing environments
- Reliable transportation and capability to travel when necessary
Responsibilities
- Gain in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes by rotating through automotive, aerospace, and other production environments
- Assist field operations with relevant technology, particularly utilizing Microsoft Power Apps
- Oversee tablet and application readiness across different operational sites
- Develop solutions based on Microsoft technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Excel reporting, and SharePoint workflows
- Act as a liaison between operations and technology, participating in meetings, identifying business needs, and ensuring successful implementation of solutions
- Take part in the rollout of PPG Qualitys agentic AI platform for manufacturing
- Address issues, communicate effectively, and advance projects autonomously without needing ongoing supervision
