Requirements
Must:
- Hands-on experience in IT, software support, systems analysis, or similar technology roles
- Proficient in Microsoft tools, including Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Windows
- In-depth knowledge of Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Genuine interest in AI applications for manufacturing and operational challenges
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical teams
- Practical, innovative approach with the capability to work autonomously and drive project completion
- Comfort with on-site work in manufacturing environments, including walking production floors
- Flexibility to work varying shifts during training and project assignments
- Reliable transportation for travel to client locations in Alabama and Georgia, with potential for additional travel as needed
- Ability to handle physical tasks in a manufacturing setting, including lifting up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- A proactive, ambitious attitude that drives success
Responsibilities
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes by rotating through various automotive and aerospace settings
- Support field operations with technology assistance, ensuring teams remain productive while utilizing tools like Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint
- Manage tablet inventory and app readiness, including setup, deployment, and basic troubleshooting
- Develop and enhance Microsoft-based solutions, utilizing tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint workflows
- Collaborate with development teams to convert operational needs into effective applications and reports
- Act as a liaison between operations and technology, gathering requirements and facilitating effective solutions
- Engage with innovative technology initiatives, including the rollout of PPG Qualitys AI platform, to optimize manufacturing operations
- Operate independently, address challenges, communicate effectively, and ensure project timelines are met
