IT procurement analyst

- Recommend new acquisitions of hardware and software following company and industry standards - Foster relationships with vendor contacts by overseeing the submission of new and renewal contracts within the Vendor Management System - Collaborate with the Accounting team to process invoices, create purchase orders, and resolve vendor payment statuses - Conduct software licensing reviews and audits - Communicate and interact daily with all management levels, vendors, and service personnel - Assist various departments with their hardware and software needs - Act as the liaison between our company and hardware/software vendors for ordered products - Investigate each requisition to identify the most cost-effective sourcing options and provide business partners with product information and order status or alternatives - Generate purchase orders for requested hardware and software and verify their accuracy, clarifying ambiguous details with requestors - Coordinate purchasing control services in line with assigned purchase orders to ensure the receipt of goods while maximizing value for expenditures
