Requirements
Must:
- Proven hands-on experience with Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrades and migrations
- Over 3 years of enterprise-level experience in a Helpdesk/Desktop Support environment
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues
- Experience collaborating with existing staff for installation, configuration, and ongoing support of desktop systems and peripheral equipment
- Familiarity with general IT domains including network, server, storage, and MS Active Directory
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and related applications
- Skilled in providing technical assistance in person, by phone, and electronically
- Experience with IT ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Ivanti, or Kaseya for documenting and tracking requests
- Ability to prepare and maintain reports on IT inventory
- Willingness to work ONSITE Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential for overtime
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
- Capability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must be a US Citizen or valid US Green Card holder. Candidates requiring sponsorship will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Upgrade operating systems from Windows 10 to Windows 11 across the organization
- Assess current systems and troubleshoot any arising issues during the upgrade process
- Ensure a seamless transition for all users affected by the upgrades
- Provide daily technical support for all user endpoint systems including desktops, laptops, phones, tablets, printers, and associated software
- Maintain professionalism and deliver excellent customer service in a customer-facing role
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the efficiency of desktop support functions
- Document, prioritize, and track technical requests using IT ticketing systems
- Prepare and manage reports related to IT inventory
- Contribute to a cooperative team atmosphere while striving for individual accountability
