Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes and data integration
- Proficiency in creating Load/Extract, Load, Transform pipelines for both batch and real-time data processing
- Strong foundation in data warehousing concepts, ETL methodologies, and data modeling techniques
- Ability to ingest data from various sources, including SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and flat files, into target data warehouses or data lakes
- Skilled in monitoring and enhancing data integration processes and applications for optimal performance, identifying and resolving issues in data loading and query execution
- Experience with integration tools such as Qlik, Talend, Informatica, and SSIS
- Commitment to ensuring data quality and consistency within the data warehouse
- Capability to develop custom integrations and transformations using SQL and/or Python
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining logical and physical data models
- Comprehensive understanding of data governance, Master Data Management (MDM), metadata management, and data quality frameworks
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring and knowledge-sharing within cross-functional teams
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platform adoption or migration (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Redshift, or BigQuery) preferred
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, or Tableau
- Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX)
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines for both real-time and batch data processing
- Monitor and optimize data integration processes for performance, troubleshooting issues related to data loading and query execution
- Utilize data integration techniques to aggregate data from diverse sources into target systems
- Ensure the quality and consistency of data within data warehousing structures
- Create custom integrations and transformations using SQL and/or Python
- Develop and uphold logical and physical data models
- Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing across cross-functional teams
- Communicate complex technical information clearly to various stakeholders
- Collaborate with business intelligence and analytics teams to support data-driven decision-making
