Requirements
Must:
- Demonstrated expertise in developing voice or conversational AI applications, such as chatbots, voice assistants, or IVR systems
- Proficient in utilizing at least one prominent LLM API and implementing prompt engineering strategies
- Familiarity with speech-to-text and text-to-speech technologies (e.g., Whisper, ElevenLabs, Deepgram, Twilio)
- Capacity to operate autonomously and adapt swiftly in a startup-like environment
- Excellent communication skills, as collaboration with the platform lead is essential
Responsibilities
- Design and enhance voice and conversational AI elements for our clinical interviewing platform
- Integrate large language model APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) into structured conversational flows
- Develop and refine conversation strategies, including branching interview scripts and response management
- Work closely with the team lead on architectural choices and sprint priorities
- Engage in hybrid on-site sessions in Jackson, MS as needed
