Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (typically 3+ years) in software development.
- Demonstrated experience in an IT role supporting continuous or batch process-based manufacturing ERP systems.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
- Experience in developing and troubleshooting business reports; familiarity with Crystal Reports is a plus.
- Understanding of Linux operating systems, including command line usage, shell scripting, and application deployment.
- Analytical problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose and resolve complex system issues impacting production.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical challenges and solutions clearly to both IT colleagues and non-technical business staff.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in coding, testing, and system maintenance for data integrity and reliability.
- Flexibility and urgency in managing multiple tasks and adapting to time-sensitive manufacturing challenges.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement high-quality software solutions utilizing SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Engage extensively with our process-based manufacturing ERP system to create new features, update existing applications, and address production challenges.
- Develop, sustain, and optimize essential reports using relevant tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts and manufacturing stakeholders to gather business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
- Administer and maintain applications operating in Linux environments.
