Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably Electrical Engineering, from an accredited institution with at least four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- I possess expertise and experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Automation and Control systems
- Protective Relay programming and commissioning
- PLC applications for Switchgear
- I have experience in developing, integrating, installing, and commissioning industrial control systems utilizing PLC and HMI solutions.
- I am adept in PLC logic programming and HMI programming, with experience in Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, and ABB software considered an advantage.
- I am familiar with common industrial communication protocols such as Modbus (RTU and TCP/IP), IEC61850, DNP3, and Profibus.
- I possess knowledge of 3-phase power.
- I have experience in configuring, testing, and commissioning relays, and experience with SEL, GE, and Siemens microprocessor relays is a plus.
Responsibilities
- I will become proficient in PAD's solutions and offerings.
- I will review and interpret client specifications to prepare project Functional Design documents, drawings, and test documentation in line with project requirements and Powell's standard procedures.
- I will develop relay configuration files utilizing various manufacturers, such as SEL, GE, Siemens, and Beckwith.
- I will design and configure SCADA systems using platforms like WonderWare InTouch, Allen Bradley Factory Talk, Copa-Data Zenon, Siemens WinCC, and/or SEL RTAC AcSELerator Diagram Builder.
- I will utilize common industrial communication protocols like Modbus (RTU and TCP/IP), IEC61850, and DNP 3.0.
- I will develop PLC-based electrical system monitoring and control solutions.
- I will participate in and create documentation for factory and on-site acceptance testing (FAT and SAT), conducting start-up and commissioning activities as necessary.
- I will ensure strict adherence to the company’s Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures across all aspects of Site Services.
- I will provide technical guidance to both internal and external stakeholders, including after-sales support.
