Requirements
Must:
- Over 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead position, preferably in an early-stage or scaling startup environment.
- Proven track record in a process-driven setting, with experience leading secure SDLC and compliance initiatives.
- Proficiency in core development languages, particularly Python and Darwin.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and ThinkOn.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure tools including Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, and databases like MongoDB.
- Experience with GitLab and Apache Airflow.
- Understanding of observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana is a plus.
- Background in financial services or regulated environments is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and engineering strategy, overseeing all aspects of machine learning, infrastructure, systems, and client integrations.
- Manage production-scale deployments of our proprietary ML platform, ensuring efficient cost and performance in demanding environments.
- Develop and refine software development life cycle (SDLC) processes, driving continuous improvement within the engineering team.
- Ensure readiness for regulated customers, focusing on secure SDLC, compliance, and auditability standards.
- Transform one-off deployments into scalable platform capabilities, such as APIs and deployment templates, to facilitate commercial growth.
- Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team, establishing a strong culture of technical excellence and accountability.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to shape company strategy and communicate effectively with investors, customers, and partners.
