Requirements
Must:
- Over 8 years in software engineering with a minimum of 3 years in a senior or lead role, preferably in an early-stage or scaling startup balancing speed with long-term architectural integrity
- Proven experience in a process-oriented organization with leadership in secure SDLC and compliance policies
- Highly skilled in Python and Darwin programming languages
- Familiarity with platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem solutions
- Proficient in infrastructure tools including Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, MongoDB, GitLab, and Apache Airflow
- Experience with web stack technologies such as TypeScript, React, and FastAPI
- Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- Experience in integrating frontier LLM and Agentic solutions is a plus
Responsibilities
- Own and scale end-to-end architecture across machine learning, systems, and customer integrations, both in the cloud and on-premises
- Manage production-scale deployments of our proprietary machine learning platform with a focus on cost-effectiveness and reliability in high-demand environments
- Design and enhance software development life cycle (SDLC) and engineering processes to ensure high efficiency and effectiveness within the team
- Ensure regulated-customer readiness, including secure SDLC practices, compliance alignment with SOC 2 and financial industry standards
- Transform unique deployments into scalable platform capabilities, such as APIs, deployment templates, and comprehensive documentation
- Intentionally grow the engineering team, identifying key hires, when to seek external expertise, and fostering a culture that encourages retention
- Collaborate with founders as a key technical partner, contributing to company strategy, prioritization, and roadmap, while effectively communicating with stakeholders
