Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience, or an IT-related Associate’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or an IT-related Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
- Experience in desktop support, system administration, or network administration.
- Preferred experience includes hardware troubleshooting and repair for PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Proficiency in client application support such as NextGen, M365, and Azure AD.
- Familiarity with software support for operating systems like Windows 10/11, Internet Browsers, and Anti-Virus software.
- Experience with remote user support, user account management, and software deployment in both local and wide-area networks.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call support as needed.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate technical issues clearly to users with varying levels of expertise.
- Strong organizational abilities with multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Effective analytical skills and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance standards related to patient information.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive technical help-desk support for all standard applications to end-users.
- Assist users with the maintenance of office peripheral equipment such as printers, scanners, phones, and teleconferencing tools.
- Collaborate with hosting providers as needed.
- Monitor assigned tickets to ensure timely resolution and follow-up to confirm issue resolution for client satisfaction.
- Conduct business systems analysis to identify areas for productivity and efficiency improvements; recommend viable solutions and assess technology products.
- Communicate planned outages and system functionalities to impacted users promptly.
- Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and software according to established procedures.
- Document IT procedures, prepare specifications, and create reports for software applications.
- Provide system administration support including management of M365, active directory, Azure/AWS, and data backup/restoration.
- Manage Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems and conduct basic network administration tasks.
- Support special IT projects or provide backup assistance as required.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and communicate any low inventory concerns.
- Uphold organizational customer service standards in all interactions with clients.
- Comply with HIPAA Security and Privacy rules as well as all other information security policies.
