Requirements
Must:
- Strong background in Microsoft Active Directory
- Proficient in Azure Active Directory
- Experienced with Microsoft Office 365 administration
- Skilled in managing Microsoft Azure
- Knowledgeable about Microsoft Intune
- Minimum of 10 years experience in the Information Technology sector
- At least 5 years experience overseeing a Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environment
- Relevant Microsoft Azure Certifications
- Advanced understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and technology products
- Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Exceptional attention to detail, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated, organized, and able to perform under pressure
- Capable of functioning effectively without direct supervision
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks
Responsibilities
- Assess all facets of the Azure environment
- Oversee Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Azure
- Implement and manage Microsoft Intune
- Monitor standards, procedures, and system integration through Azure Cloud Architecture design
- Evaluate all components of the AWS environment
- Conduct daily operations necessary to manage cloud services (AWS, Azure), utilizing a diverse range of tools for cloud infrastructure management, including resolving incidents and troubleshooting tickets
- Document the Cloud infrastructure thoroughly
- Provide phone and helpdesk support for both local and remote employees as required
- Diagnose system errors and other technical issues
- Project manage larger implementations using cloud-based project management solutions
- Utilize a ticket tracking system to log all support incidents
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of hardware, software, and support assets
- Mentor and guide Help Desk Technicians
- Support software applications, including troubleshooting programs, testing, and applying software updates
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of Cybersecurity technologies (MFA, DUO, MDM, etc.)
- Meet agreed-upon SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Carry out additional responsibilities as needed
Description
We are seeking a Systems Engineer - Tier 3 to be a key player in our Microsoft environment, which encompasses Office 365, Azure AD, and the Azure ecosystem, with additional expertise in AWS. In this role, you will provide advanced support to Help Desk Technicians and assist our employees with any software, hardware, or computer system queries they may have. This is an in-person position based in our Rockville, MD office.
