Requirements

- Efficiently set up audio and video equipment in a professional manner in dynamic environments.
- Correctly position and monitor microphone placement for optimal audio capture.
- Continuously mix multiple audio tracks for accurate sound levels and monitor for interference using portable audio interfaces.
- Adjust white balance and exposure in varying settings.
- Ensure appropriate video framing in line with legal videography standards.
- Assist clients with diverse audio, video, and technology challenges both in-person and remotely.
- Develop and sustain a strong understanding of departmental policies, the legal field, and audio/video technology.
- Maintain a log of key legal events during proceedings, noting relevant spellings, exhibit introductions, and objections.
- Administer oaths to deponents and accurately record their spoken testimony in legal settings.
- Maintain a calm, neutral, and professional demeanor throughout legal proceedings.
