Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in software quality assurance analysis
- Proficient understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with databases such as DB2 and SQL
- Knowledge of file structures and system design analysis
- Experience in risk analysis and project management
- Proven ability to create and execute automated test scripts and manual tests
- Skilled in crafting relational database queries
- Knowledge of scripting languages including Python, VBScript, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with defect management tools
- Experience with change management tools such as SVN and Git
- Ability to adhere to and implement testing standards
- Experience in reviewing software requirements, conducting risk analysis, and preparing specification documents
- Understanding of software testing processes such as Cloud-based testing, Data ETL tools, Agile methodologies, and Software Testing Life Cycle fundamentals
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough software quality assurance analysis ensuring high standards of quality
- Collaborate with project teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Design, write, and execute both automated and manual tests
- Develop queries to validate data within relational databases
- Analyze project risks and identify mitigation strategies
- Utilize defect management tools to track and resolve issues
- Implement change management procedures efficiently
- Review and interpret software requirement specifications and testing protocols
- Participate in Agile meetings and contribute to the team dynamic
- Document testing processes and outcomes accurately
- Conduct testing in Cloud-based environments and work with ETL tools
