Requirements
Must:
- Five (5) years of experience in Information Security
- Experience in overseeing security audits and governance management
- Proficient in monitoring and reporting on compliance with security policies and standards
- Skilled in conducting compliance quantitative assessments
- Knowledge of security concepts and their practical application in Network Engineering, Network Security, Threat and Vulnerability Management, Database Management, SDLC, and Release Management
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks related to security and privacy, such as ISO 27001, SOC, HIPAA, HITRUST, and FedRAMP
- Proficient in AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Experience with CSPM, Vulnerability Scanning, and Log Ingestion/SIEM
- Capable of implementing controls in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud environments
- Knowledge of Data Protection Agreements (DPAs)
- Experience maintaining a cybersecurity risk register
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Security Management, or a directly related field
Responsibilities
- Oversee security audits and governance management to ensure year-round compliance
- Optimize audit and regulatory efforts within the organization
- Maintain and enhance our integrated cybersecurity controls framework and associated programs
- Monitor adherence to Starburst security policies and standards and report on compliance
- Facilitate governance processes, track remediation efforts for vulnerabilities and deficiencies
- Establish and implement resolutions based on risk impact and criticality
- Conduct comprehensive compliance quantitative assessments with minimal supervision
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders throughout compliance processes
- Maintain an up-to-date cybersecurity risk register
- Compile and present compliance posture reports to senior leadership
