Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- Active US Government clearance
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Experience in developing customer-centric software solutions
- Strong communication capabilities for effective discussions regarding priorities and tasks during meetings
- Proven expertise in building web applications
- Proficiency in Angular for developing responsive web interfaces
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), bug tracking, pull request approval processes, testing methodologies, and Agile practices
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS (preferred)
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker (preferred)
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (preferred)
- Understanding of web application security best practices (preferred)
- Proficiency in Java, including modern JDK versions and enterprise technologies like REST/JSON APIs, service-oriented architecture (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) (preferred)
- Familiarity or experience with Elasticsearch, Kafka, and RabbitMQ (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications utilizing Angular and related technologies
- Collaborate with internal teams to define, design, and ship new features in a timely manner
- Engage with project managers and customers to define new features, resolve observed issues, and gather requirements for project execution
- Participate in daily status meetings to review completed tasks and discuss necessary input from team members, assisting in organizing breakout sessions for in-depth discussions on complex tasks
- Maintain and enhance existing codebases, ensuring adherence to high-quality software development practices, including unit and integration testing
- Troubleshoot and debug applications, conducting peer code reviews
- Optimize applications for improved performance, scalability, and reliability
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to integrate them into development workflows
