Requirements

Must:
- An associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred. - Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft 365 Administrator are highly preferred. - Proven experience in IT support or a comparable role. - Strong knowledge of SQL Database Management, E-Commerce, Search Optimization software, and Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint. - Familiarity with CRM, ShipHawk, NetSuite, and Vonage systems is preferred. - Excellent troubleshooting abilities for hardware, software, and network issues. - Capability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Effective problem-solving skills with a customer-service mindset. - Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Set up and configure equipment and systems for new hires. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues employees encounter related to hardware, software, and connectivity. - Manage and resolve concerns regarding email, spam filters, and phone systems. - Provide assistance with company platforms including CRM, ERP, Telecommunication, and Logistics. - Address Wi-Fi and internet connectivity issues. - Aid in printer setup and troubleshooting. - Promptly address E-commerce platform issues. - Support PowerPoint presentations for CRM and NS meetings. - Handle backlog emails and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues. - Monitor and respond to employee requests for technical support via email and phone. - Maintain and update documentation of system configurations and technical processes. - Collaborate closely with the IT Manager to support the company’s systems. - Effectively communicate technical issues and solutions with the team. - Recommend enhancements to existing systems and processes to improve efficiency.

As an IT Support Specialist, I will be responsible for delivering frontline technical assistance to our employees across all locations. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless operation of our technology infrastructure and business systems, including diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network challenges, as well as supporting our enterprise systems. I will work in partnership with the IT Manager to maintain system reliability and enhance productivity throughout the company. My role will require a strong service orientation, proactive problem-solving abilities, and the talent to communicate complex technical issues in a way that is easy for users to understand. I am committed to continuously improving IT processes and tools, all while supporting our mission to serve veterans effectively and securely. This is a full-time position, paying between $28.00 and $34.00 per hour with an expected workweek of 40 hours. We offer a variety of benefits including 401(k), dental and health insurance, paid time off, and more. The role is based in-person, operating in both an office and warehouse environment, where I will support employees on-site and remotely across multiple locations.
