Requirements
Must:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- More than 3 years of relevant experience or a comparable combination of education and experience is preferred.
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE), or Help Desk Institute (HDI) certifications are preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft environments, including Active Directory and DNS/DHCP.
- Understanding of fundamental networking concepts and principles.
- Exposure to Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments is preferred.
- Experience managing user accounts and network permissions.
- Familiarity with AI technology and tools is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the help desk ticketing system by logging, tracking, and resolving support requests.
- Deliver patient, clear guidance to non-technical users while managing their expectations.
- Generate documentation for common issues and maintain repair records.
- Install, configure, and update hardware and software systems, such as servers, PCs, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software problems, providing help desk support to users.
- Ensure system security, manage user profiles and passwords, and support data backup and restoration requests.
- Monitor performance, identify required improvements, and implement new technologies.
- Document common issues, system configurations, and conduct end-user training.
- Foster a positive work environment by providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Uphold a high level of integrity and work ethic in all interactions.
- Maintain professionalism in all verbal and written communications.
