Requirements

- Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field OR 3+ years of progressive Tier I/II IT support experience in a corporate setting (oil & gas experience preferred)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Suite
- Comprehensive understanding of Windows 11 Operating Systems
- Intermediate grasp of networking fundamentals and concepts
- Knowledge of audio/visual systems and virtualization fundamentals
- Awareness of network security concepts and Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)
- Understanding of wireless networks and physical access control systems
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier I/II technical support to end users by identifying, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software challenges, including the replacement of laptops and iPhones
- Oversee the complete IT support process concerning Tier I/II issues and tasks
- Identify and escalate higher-level Tier support issues when necessary
- Manage the IT inventory regarding assets in your area of responsibility
- Configure and prepare workstations and iPhones/iPads for deployment
- Assist with drilling rig and fracking visits, including rig down/rig up of IT equipment
- Facilitate end user onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Implement and withdraw end user workstations in line with the established IT Equipment Lifecycle policy
- Stay updated on technology trends pertaining to hardware, operating systems, and software solutions
- Ensure the health and security of end user computing equipment by assessing, testing, and deploying software, operating system, and firmware updates
- Offer management feedback on process and program enhancements
- Aid in the management and maintenance of Active Directory users, security groups, and computer objects
