Requirements

Must:
- I require candidates to have 3 to 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity, field service, or IT support role. - A fundamental understanding of security, systems, and networking concepts. - Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and both Windows and Mac operating systems. - Experience in computer hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance, as well as support for printers and peripherals. - The capability to troubleshoot unfamiliar software and familiarity with antivirus, EDR, SIEM tools, and penetration testing. - An understanding of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace security features. - A team-oriented approach with a flexible mindset to assist in various functions. - Strong attention to detail along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. - Excellent documentation practices and accountability. - The ability to effectively communicate complex instructions verbally. - A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required. - Certifications such as HIPAA Security Training (or a willingness to complete it upon hire) are mandatory, while CompTIA Security+, GSEC, or other entry-level security certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

- My Security Operations & GRC Analyst monitor security alerts and system logs for any indicators of compromise or policy violations. - I will investigate any suspicious activity and escalate issues following standard incident response protocols. - You will assist with documentation, conduct root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation for security incidents. - Conducting vulnerability scans and supporting the tracking of remediation progress will be essential. - I support risk assessments and client internal audits related to HIPAA compliance. - Analyzing reports on emerging threats and vulnerabilities for internal awareness will be part of your role. - Assistance with GAP analysis, penetration testing, and security risk assessments is required. - I will maintain documentation for HIPAA-related security controls as well as compliance artifacts. - You will assist with audit preparation and respond to security-related inquiries while ensuring alignment with organizational security policies and federal regulations. - Development and delivery of security awareness training, including HIPAA topics for clients, is part of the job. - Providing guidance to clients on secure practices and data protection will be expected. - You will help maintain internal documentation like procedures and response plans, along with the implementation, monitoring, and support of various security tools in client environments. - You will also help maintain overall operational hygiene by addressing stale or overdue tickets and assist with escalations from technicians within the company. - It is essential to manage your time and tasks reliably and be detail-oriented and thorough in task completion. - A willingness to respond to urgent requests or emergencies as needed and the capability to work outside of normal business hours is required.
