Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an individual who meets the following criteria:
- Background in managed services or enterprise IT with 3-5+ years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls is essential.
- Proven experience with Ubiquiti and Juniper switching platforms is required.
- Demonstrated expertise in Hyper-V and server migrations is necessary.
- A strong track record of managing escalated technical issues successfully.
- Experience in training and mentoring junior technicians is also beneficial.
- Excellent troubleshooting techniques and analytical abilities are key.
- The candidate must be able to work on-site in our Evansville office.

Responsibilities
In this critical role, you will:
- Act as the advanced technical resource for installations, changes, and major incidents involving switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Manage the renewal and administration of SSL certificates and conduct regular patching and updates across client environments.
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement configuration changes.
- Respond to and resolve urgent network incidents involving switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Diagnose complicated underlying issues and delegate tasks as necessary.
- Identify trends in incidents and change requests to propose operational enhancements.
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures for both Managed IT and Co-Managed environments.
- Train specialist and frontline technicians on new processes and technologies.
- Maintain technical documentation in our IT management platform, ITGlue.
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of ticket notes and troubleshooting steps.
- Follow up with clients as needed, ensuring detailed ticket notation and maintaining effective communication throughout the process.
