Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in Azure engineering or architecture
- Demonstrated success with large-scale or greenfield cloud implementations
- Extensive hands-on experience in building Azure environments from inception to completion
- Proficiency in Azure services, including networking, compute, identity, security, and monitoring
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and scripting languages such as Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, and CLI
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or container orchestration technologies
- Strong grasp of cloud security principles and governance frameworks
- Capability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively
Responsibilities
- Design and construct enterprise-level Azure environments from the ground up
- Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to create and maintain a complete application ecosystem
- Establish Azure architecture standards, landing zones, and governance protocols
- Spearhead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives utilizing Terraform, Bicep, and ARM
- Implement cloud security measures including zero-trust and identity management strategies
- Design and oversee containerized workloads using AKS and Docker
- Setup and manage development and testing environments
- Work alongside network administrators to deploy necessary infrastructure
- Manage monitoring, incident response, cost oversight, and disaster recovery plans (RTO/RPO)
- Promote accountability and ensure the successful delivery of projects
