Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience for mid-level candidates; 6+ years for senior-level positions.
- Proven expertise with Azure Data Factory or comparable ETL/ELT tools.
- In-depth knowledge of database design, including relational modeling and normalization/denormalization principles.
- Familiarity with data lakes and/or data warehouses, such as Azure Data Lake and Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience in transforming structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Proficient in SQL with experience in Azure SQL Database and/or Azure SQL Managed Instance.
- Understanding of Azure data services and the broader Microsoft data ecosystem.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory and relevant tools.
- Architect and oversee data lake and data warehouse solutions.
- Facilitate the transformation and transfer of data between relational, NoSQL, and object storage systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to establish data needs and solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data pipelines for optimal performance and dependability.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across various systems.
- Document data flows, structures, and architectural decisions.
- Contribute to the data platforms strategy and ongoing enhancements.
