Requirements
Must:
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise and service provider network architectures
- In-depth understanding of future networking trends and their operational impacts
- Proven skills in translating vague business needs into scalable technical network designs
- Strong capability in leading and mentoring engineering teams through complex strategic initiatives
- Industry-recognized expert certifications (e.g., Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE, or equivalent)
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement high-level Proof-of-Concept (PoC) and pilot projects for new network technologies, evaluating their feasibility and integration into our global infrastructure
- Conduct ongoing Network Architecture Audits to identify security, compliance, and performance risks, advocating for necessary strategic network changes
- Establish and uphold Engineering Governance to define standards, documentation requirements, and sign-off procedures for global network modifications
- Create and manage the multi-year architectural roadmap for our complete global network infrastructure, aligning technical direction with business strategy
- Act as the primary technical advisor to IT and business leaders, simplifying complex networking concepts into actionable business strategies
