Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 1 year professional experience in IT technologies or electronics, ideally in a field or hospital service environment.
- Preferred experience with patient monitoring systems, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators.
- Proficiency in network configuration or troubleshooting, and possess a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or must obtain within 6 months of employment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics, biomedical engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Ability to meet minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodations.
- Comfortable working in both remote and healthcare settings.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as necessary.
- Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment during work activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships by leveraging technical expertise to install, implement, and service complex IT solutions for effective patient data delivery.
- Provide tailor-made technical advice based on customer needs while aiding the transition from a reactive to a proactive service model.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the implementation process and service offerings to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with a diverse regional team, including clinical, sales, and service personnel, to coordinate resources and tasks focused on customer delivery.
- Perform administrative tasks in compliance with Philips, State, and Federal regulations, including timesheets, service work orders, and related documentation.
- Install complex systems, including IT infrastructure and patient monitoring devices in various environments, ensuring operational performance.
- Identify and address electronic, networking, and mechanical issues during system reviews and implementations.
- Travel approximately 70% within the designated region, with daily driving averaging 1-4 hours and potential overnight stays or air/train travel required.
