We are looking for an individual who has accumulated over 3 years of professional experience in the IT technologies or electronics sector, preferably within a field or hospital-based service setting. Experience in patient monitoring, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators is highly desirable.
You should possess skills in network configuration and troubleshooting, and you must hold a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or be willing to obtain it within 6 months of starting employment. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics, biomedical engineering, or related fields, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
It is essential that you meet the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements for this Field Service role, with or without accommodations.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to manage customer relationships by effectively applying your technical knowledge to install, implement, service, test, and troubleshoot complex IT network solutions to ensure top-quality service in delivering real-time patient data requirements.
You will provide technical advice tailored to customer needs and facilitate the transition from a reactive service model to a solutions-focused approach, driving continual enhancements in our implementation methods and service offerings. I need you to actively participate in our regional work team, collaborating with a diverse range of internal and external resources, including clinical, sales, and service partners.
As part of your duties, you will handle all administrative tasks in accordance with Philips, state, and federal regulations within set timeframes, including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, and installation documents. You will be responsible for installing complex, multi-phase systems consisting of IT infrastructure and patient monitoring equipment in clinical and non-clinical settings. This will include performing technical reviews of system configurations to ensure optimal performance and diagnosing and resolving issues related to electronics, networking, and mechanics.
You should be prepared for travel across the specified regions, with daily driving times averaging between 1-4 hours, and occasional overnight trips or air/train travel may be necessary.

Additional components of compensation may include field service bonuses, on-call pay, a company vehicle, training, and opportunities for advancement.
