Requirements
Must:
- I require candidates to have over 3 years of professional experience in the IT technologies or electronics field, ideally within a service environment in hospitals or similar settings. Familiarity with patient monitoring systems, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators is highly desirable.
- Candidates should possess skills in network configuration and troubleshooting, and must have obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or be willing to obtain it within 6 months of starting the role.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics, biomedical, or related fields, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is essential.
- I expect candidates to fulfill the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements, with or without accommodation.
Responsibilities
- In this role, I will task you with providing technical recommendations tailored to customer needs, shifting our focus from a reactive to a solutions-based service model. You will drive ongoing enhancements in our implementation methods and service offerings, while actively contributing to service strategies aimed at boosting customer loyalty.
- You will take an active part as a member of the regional work team, collaborating with a diverse group of internal and external resources, including clinical, sales, and service partners. You will coordinate project resources and tasks, allowing team members to concentrate on customer deliverables.
- You will handle all administrative duties in compliance with Philips, state, and federal regulations within set timeframes, including timesheets, service orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders (FCO), preventative maintenance (PM), installation documents, and other relevant paperwork. Adherence to established training, quality, and safety requirements is also expected.
- You will install complex multi-phased systems that integrate IT infrastructure and patient monitoring equipment in both clinical and non-clinical settings. This role will require you to conduct a technical review of system configurations to ensure optimal performance during implementations and to resolve any electronic, networking, or mechanical issues as they arise.
- Expect approximately 70% travel across the designated area, including all of Georgia, with an average daily driving time of 1-4 hours. There may also be occasional overnight travel by air or train.
