I am looking for candidates with over 3 years of professional experience in IT technologies or the electronics sector, ideally in field or hospital-based service roles. Experience with patient monitoring systems, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators is highly preferred. You should have expertise in network configuration and troubleshooting, and possess a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification (or be willing to obtain it within 6 months of starting). A bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics, biomedical engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is essential. Candidates must be capable of fulfilling the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental requirements of this Field Service position, with or without accommodation.
###
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to leverage your technical knowledge to manage customer relationships effectively. You will be responsible for installing, implementing, servicing, testing, and troubleshooting complex IT network solutions to ensure high-quality delivery of real-time patient data. You will provide tailored technical recommendations based on customer needs and support the transition to a customer-focused operational model. I encourage you to drive continuous improvements in our implementation methodologies and service offerings to enhance customer loyalty.
You will also work collaboratively within a diverse regional team, coordinating project resources and tasks, enabling team members to concentrate on delivering for our customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for all administrative tasks in compliance with Philips, state, and federal regulations, including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, and site documentation. Installing complex, multi-phased systems that integrate IT infrastructure and patient monitoring equipment in clinical and non-clinical settings will be part of your duties, alongside diagnosing and resolving any electronic, networking, and mechanical issues.
