Requirements

Must:
I am looking for a candidate who possesses more than 3 years of professional experience in the IT technologies or electronics sector, preferably within a field or hospital service environment. Experience with patient monitoring systems, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators is highly desirable. You should have skills in network configuration and troubleshooting, and I require that you hold a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or be willing to obtain it within 6 months of starting your employment. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics, biomedical sciences, or a related field or an equivalent mix of education and experience is essential. You must be able to meet the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements for this Field Service role, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

In this position, I need you to provide technical advice tailored to our customers' needs while supporting the shift from a break-fix operation to a customer-centric solution approach. You'll be instrumental in driving the continual enhancement of our implementation processes and service offerings. You will collaborate actively with a diverse team of internal and external stakeholders, including clinical, sales, and service partners, facilitating the coordination of project resources and tasks. It will be necessary for you to carry out all administrative tasks in compliance with Philips’ guidelines as well as State and Federal regulations within specific timeframes, including but not limited to timesheets, service work orders, and installation documentation. You will also install intricate, multi-phase systems comprised of IT infrastructure and patient monitoring equipment in both clinical and non-clinical settings. Additionally, you will perform technical assessments of system configuration to ensure operational viability during implementation and will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving electronic, networking, and mechanical issues.

Description

Approximately 70% of your time will involve travel across parts of Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan, with the average daily driving time ranging from 1 to 4 hours. Occasional overnight stays and train or air travel may also be necessary. I value collaboration and believe we achieve greater success together. Therefore, for office-based teams, I require at least 3 days of in-person work each week. As this is primarily a field role, your work will predominantly take place at customer and supplier locations. We are a health technology company committed to ensuring everyone has access to quality healthcare. This role offers hourly pay ranging from $33.00 to $52.00, with eligibility for overtime and additional benefits such as field service incentive bonuses, a company vehicle, and career progression opportunities. Candidates must have US work authorization, as visa sponsorship is not available. Relocation assistance for this position is not provided, and I expect the selected candidates to reside within commuting distance to Toledo, OH. This job posting will remain active for 45 days but may close sooner once a suitable candidate is found. I encourage interested applicants to apply promptly for consideration. Philips is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer, including those with disabilities/veterans, and upholds a drug-free workplace.
