Lead Cyber Security Engineer - Cloud/FW

- Proven experience delivering customer-focused solutions, support, or services. - Strong knowledge of software engineering architectures, system/software designs, and system deployments. - Proficient in Cyber Security, Cyber Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical/Computer Engineering. - In-depth understanding of security technologies and application development methodologies. - Demonstrated expertise in performing cyber threat analysis, incident response, forensic analysis, penetration testing, and ethical hacking. - Extensive knowledge of directory services and identity stores. - Preferred: Experience managing significant incidents in large organizations. - Preferred: Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Masters degree is a plus. - Preferred: 7–10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 3 years in incident response or security operations leadership roles. - Preferred: Experience leading high-impact cyber incident response efforts in enterprise or government environments. - Preferred: Familiarity with incident management frameworks and methodologies (NIST 800-61, ISO 27035, SANS). - Preferred: Practical knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, threat intelligence, and forensic tools. - Preferred: Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCIH, GCIM, GCFA, or equivalent. - Preferred: Exceptional skills in crisis management. - Preferred: Ability to convey complex technical information clearly to executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams. - Preferred: Experience conducting tabletop exercises, after-action reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Preferred: Understanding of compliance and regulatory obligations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX). - Preferred: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and government or law enforcement agencies.
