Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, data science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 8 years of experience in an Enterprise Application Architecture role, ideally within a global organization.
- Profound understanding of architecture governance, application design patterns, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record in establishing and enforcing architecture governance, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Practical experience with platforms such as Microsoft M365, SharePoint, Microsoft Azure, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Salesforce, MuleSoft, and ServiceNow.
- Capability to lead teams, influence outcomes, and manage change within complex environments.
- Exceptional communication, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across business and IT teams.
- Experience in delivering value within both Agile and traditional project management environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to assess trade-offs and create practical, scalable solutions.
- Preferred: MBA, experience within a large professional services organization, vendor management experience, knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) frameworks and governance practices, and strong executive presentation abilities.
- Preferred certifications include TOGAF and Microsoft Azure Cloud certifications.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Visio.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the formulation of target-state application architecture that aligns with the broader Enterprise Architecture and Architecture Vision while fulfilling stakeholder requirements.
- Ensure that application architectures are in alignment with organizational solution goals, standards, and long-term business strategies.
- Create and sustain reference architectures, architecture building blocks (ABB), standards, and guidelines to guarantee secure, compliant, and uniform technology solutions.
- Oversee the evaluation, selection, and deployment of technology platforms and solutions that best cater to enterprise needs.
- Identify solution and capability gaps, and formulate strategies and roadmaps for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify, prioritize, and bolster strategic initiatives.
- Remain aware of emerging application and technology trends, evaluating their potential impact and value to our organization.
- Effectively communicate application target states, roadmaps, and progress updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Guide and mentor architects, technology owners, and subject matter experts to deliver cohesive, enterprise-wide solutions.
